A real highlight of the year for us was the launch of FilmApp, an online application processing system for film makers and borough film officers in London. A key factor in the success of this project is the commitment and passion of Andrew Pavord at Southwark Film Office. I can’t tell you what an acheivement it is to have this system adopted by ten key boroughs with more to follow in 2011. The second, equally important factor is the fantastic work Alex and the Sumac team did on the system design and build. To get his project delivered to such a tight budget and to such a high standard was miraculous.
2010 has also been a very good year for our online gaming client PredictorPro. The World Cup game in the summer provided a massive boost in users and we managed to launch an iPhone App for the start of the new football season. These two events both involved significant development of the “engine” and the platform continues to grow and evolve.
Our old friends at The Halo Works have had a very interesting time in 2010. We’ve further developed the Halo Online platform we first created for them in 2006 to take them into a whole new area for their business. Refining the survey engine to provide very focussed customer experience data is proving extremely valuable to large corporate clients, especially when integrated with business and asset management systems such as Maximo.
